Jun 5, 2021 · The Druid is among the most powerful and versatile classes in the game. With a pet Defender/Striker, a diverse spell list, and the Wild Shape ability, the Druid can fill nearly any role in the party except the Face. The two biggest decision points for the Druid are Nature Bond (Animal Companion vs. Druid Domain) and Wild Shape.

The first thing you should do is forget everything you’ve ever learned from 5e. All of it. The biggest mistake new players make is assuming things work like in 5e. They don’t. The second thing you should do is play the Beginner Box, as it’s a great introduction. The third thing is to enjoy Druids because I freakin love them.
