We have been going to The Atlantis for years so that might have swayed my kids but two summers ago, they were 15 and 17 and we took them to both Baha Mar and Atlantis. I had been to Baha Mar on a girls trip so wanted my family to see it. We went to Baha Mar first for 4 days and then Atlantis for 4. Baha Mar may not have waterslides as Atlantis does but what they do have blows Atlantis out of the water. The pools (there are several!) are all unique and have fun features. The grounds and hotels on site are all beautiful. They make very good use of the much smaller footprint they have than Atlantis. There are plenty of pools and cabanas to enjoy. The beach is excellent. The restaurants on site are very good. We ate at Cleo and Katsuya for dinners and 3 Tides for breakast.
